Sr. Hardware Design Engineer
As a senior member of our development team, you will be responsible for defining and developing key sections of GuideTech’s next generation timing and signal integrity analysis test solutions. You will have full ownership of designing and driving these designs through to manufacturing release.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the product architecture and definition process
- Develop project specifications from the high-level product definition
- Design, simulate, debug, layout, test, and support board-level electronic designs containing high-speed digital and analog circuits
- Support the firmware and software teams
- Provide manufacturing and application troubleshooting assistance as needed
- Support existing designs as needed
Qualifications
- Experience designing high-speed digital circuits and systems, in particular ECL technology, high-speed clock distribution and bus termination methods
- Implemented logic designs in CPLDs and FPGAs
- Implemented designs utilizing high speed ADCs and DACs
- Familiar with embedded systems design
- Successfully completed designs that have gone into production
- 5+ years experience developing board and system level products
- Hand-on PCB layout experience.
- Thorough knowledge of electronic design tools
- Excellent communications and team building skills
- BSEE or equivalent
Desired Skills
- MSEE or equivalent
- RF design experience
- Working knowledge of Verilog, PowerLogic, PowerPCB, ORCAD and SPICE
