Sr. Applications Engineer

As a senior member of our dynamic application team, you will be responsible for demonstrating GuideTech’s industry leading timing and jitter analysis test equipment, developing test programs, and providing technical consulting services. You will be a part of a team but also have the opportunity to work independently.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Develop and debug high speed timing and jitter test programs for clocks, cellular, LAN, SerDes, PCI Express, WiFi, and memory applications
• Develop and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to selected customers and at industry trade shows
• Identify, qualify, and implement new applications
• Develop and present technical notes, white papers, training classes and Application Development Plans
• In a timely manner, develop and integrate GuideTech products into a variety of ATE platforms

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C, C++, Unix, Windows and Linux (5 years)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience operating scopes, signal generators, signal analyzers, BERTs and ATE equipment (Verigy, Teradyne, Credence, LTX, NexTest,…)
• Ability to complete multiple projects at the same time.
• 20% domestic and international travel expected
• Excellent communications skills
• BS EE or Computer Science
