GuideTech Welcomes Tom Anthofer of Cipio Partners To
The Board of Directors

Sunnyvale, CA – February 20, 2007 – GuideTech, the leading provider of high-throughput precision test and measurement instruments for the semiconductor design and manufacturing industries, today announced that Tom S. Anthofer, a Managing Partner of Cipio Partners, has joined GuideTech Board of Directors.

Prior to founding Cipio, where Tom manages a number of later-stage investments and oversees the firm's realization and exit management function, he was a Partner and served as Managing Director of Broadview Holdings LP (nka Jefferies & Co.), New York/London, one of the largest investment banking and private equity firms dedicated to the technology, media and telecommunications industries.  Before joining Broadview in 1992, Tom was with Nomura Group and Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo and New York with responsibility for both organizations' investments in medical and information technology companies.
