GUIDETECH YIELDS RECORD BOOKINGS FOR MARCH, 2005

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 31, 2005 – GuideTech, the leading supplier of precision timing and jitter analysis solutions, received a record number of orders for its Femto 2000™ Continuous Timing Interval Analyzers (CTIA) in March, 2005. Most of the increased volume came from the test, assembly and packaging (TAP) market in Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Companies such as Amkor, ChipMOS, SPIL, and UNISEM offer GuideTech’s flagship Femto 2000 systems, which integrate easily onto semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE) like the Agilent 93000, Teradyne FLEX, and the Nextest Maverick, because they are favored by industry-leading IC companies for equipment reliability, fast measurement speed and high throughput for PLL, bus interface skew and jitter measurements.

“This quarter, GuideTech has restructured to weather the slowdown that we and the entire semiconductor test industry have experienced in the past two quarters,” stated Bob Raybuck, President of GuideTech. “With the new organization in place, GuideTech is better positioned to support our strategic partners, respond to market changes quickly and to maintain business stability moving forward. This month’s record orders for our Femto systems, as well as for our CTIA board level products, are extremely encouraging. Coupled with the increased visibility of recent design wins, we feel these are positive indications of an upturn in the ASIA TAP business driven by higher volumes of consumer, cell phone and graphics devices. This is also a reaffirmation of GuideTech’s CTIA technology as being the most cost effective and production worthy solution for critical timing test.”

About GuideTech
GuideTech is the leading innovator in high-performance timing measurement instruments, providing semiconductor manufacturers with the solution they need to minimize timing-related component failure and to dramatically reduce production test costs through test-time reduction and extended ATE lifecycles. Based on patented Continuous Time Interval Analyzer (CTIA) technology, the company's FEMTO family of multi-channel timing test systems accomplishes this by substantially improving test throughput via fast measurement rates, far greater accuracy, increased parallelism, and through critical, high-speed timing test coverage often lacking in ATE systems. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, the company is the first to deliver cost-effective, advanced timing measurement solutions that easily integrate onto any ATE platform.
