GuideTech GT4000 CTIA Gains Fast Traction In Production;
Posts Record Profits in 2005

Sunnyvale, CA – February 6, 2006 – GuideTech announces their GT4000 CTIA-based jitter and timing test solution has gained rapid traction at multiple subcontract test facilities in Taiwan, Korea, and China. The GT4000 is being used for high-throughput production test of PCI Express, PLL, and Clock Phase Noise on consumer CMOS Imaging, WiFi and cell phone devices. The GT4000 builds on GuideTech’s flagship Femto 2000 CTIA, now a de facto standard at all major fabless subcontract companies, including Carsem, StatsChipPac, ASE, SPIL, ChipMOS, KYC, and Amkor, with more than 250 systems installed worldwide. Both the Femto 2000 and the GT4000 provide extremely cost-effective AC timing test at throughput speeds unmatched in any production environment and are integrated on numerous ATE Platforms including Teradyne, Agilent, Nextest and Credence.

"In 2005, GuideTech accomplished a number of objectives designed to maximize our response to the market's increasing need for fast, cost-effective, test solutions and the release of our GT4000 was a key component of that strategy" stated Bob Raybuck, GuideTech's President & CEO. "The company also delivered consistent and record profitability despite a contraction in capital buying during the year. By complementing our existing product set with the GT4000, combined with a strengthening of market conditions and a renewed appetite for test capacity, we see 2006 as a year of significant growth for GuideTech."

"Despite the generally cautious mood of ATE buyers we have certainly seen a stronger than expected come back and we are pushing manufacturing to deliver on a growing backlog," stated Tammy L. McClure, GuideTech VP Marketing. "Looking forward into 2006, now that we have proven our value on 'big iron' ATE such as the Teradyne FLEX, Agilent 93000, and the latest Agilent Pin Scale systems, GuideTech will increase its focus on integrating into more low-cost systems like KVD, Eagle and even the array of test systems of integrated device manufacturers who build their own low-cost and DFT testers in-house."

About GuideTech
GuideTech is the leading innovator in high-performance CTIA-based timing measurement instruments, providing semiconductor manufacturers with the solution they need to minimize timing-related component failure and to dramatically reduce production test costs through test-time reduction and extended ATE lifecycles. Based on patented Continuous Time Interval Analyzer (CTIA) technology, the company's FEMTO 2000 and GT4000 families of multi-channel timing test systems and accompanying Datacom Analysis software substantially improve test throughput via fast measurement rates, far greater measurement and analysis accuracy, and the ability to handle asynchronous or non-deterministic signals without external arming on up to 32 or 64 channels . These capabilities, which are strongly linked to GuideTech's unique CTIA technology, enable critical, high-speed, functional, timing and jitter test coverage for PLLs and multi-gigabit serial interfaces such as PCI Express and Serial ATA, in milliseconds, in parallel, and in production. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, the company is the first to deliver cost-effective, advanced timing measurement solutions that easily integrate onto any ATE platform.
